The New York Times reports the high school's jazz band will be playing a free concert at New Jersey's Acorn Cultural Center this week as part of a three-day residency from the renownedflautist.
The residency is a partnership with JazzReach, a nonprofit that "fosters a greater appreciation, awareness, and understanding of this rich, vital, ever-evolving American art form," according to the Acorn.
