Marquette University has a new president, but the school won't be getting a new name anytime soon.
In fact, it's renaming itself the Marquette University School of Journalism and Mass Communication, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The move is part of a larger effort by the university to change its name to better reflect its emphasis on journalism and mass media.
The new name is actually a play on the old " Marquette University School of Journalism and Mass Communication," which is now known as the Marquette University School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The new name reflects the school's focus on journalism and mass media, as well as its goal to be a leader in the field by 2024, reports the Journal Sentinel, which has the full list of this year's honorees. Read the Entire Article
