If you're a first-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, you might want to stop by the school's "Find Your People" event, which is designed "to help first-year students in the Communications and Sport Management and Media Living Learning Communities connect with others," according to a press release.

21 speed-networking event gave students the chance to interact with faculty and staff members, as well as upperclassmen, to "learn about the different majors, career paths, and academic interests in a fast-paced but low-stakes environment," says Staci Saltz, chair and lecturer in the department of Cinema and Television Arts.
Among those in attendance was Ashley Pinney, director of the university's national campus programs.
The senior shared first-hand insights into the resources she has utilized in the School of Communications and how the school has impacted her career path and interests.
This included Hoffman-Byer displaying her handmade jewelry, a part of her jewelry brand LilaRuby.
