Dineen Jr.

and his siblings provided the $15 million lead gift to build Dineen Hall.

His parents had attended the College of Law.

His father was raised in the Irish immigrant neighborhood near the law school at the western edge of the University campus.

He was a driving force behind the capital campaign that would bring the 200,000-square-foot building to life.
