Seventh grader Isabella Ivy has claimed first place in the Alabama Independent Schools Association's (AISA) annual creative writing contest.
Ivy's short story stood out among submissions from students across the state, showcasing her talent and creativity.
She won top honors in the Grades 6 8 division of the AISA contest.
She is currently in the 7th grade.
