The Washington, DC, campus of George Washington University's Corcoran School of the Arts and Design is known for its cutting-edge architecture, and this year's students are no exception.
As part of the school's annual Dezeen school show, the Corcoran's Interior Architecture and MA programs are showing off their latest projects, reports Fast Company.
Among the standouts: a student-run hostel in Sweden, reports the Telegraph.
Called Social Spa, it's designed to promote well-being through Swedish customs, including mandatory breaks to the beach and social bathing.
The main house is a retreat in DC's Dumbarton Oaks neighborhood, and the project is called Echo Market.
It's a place "to nurture the soul, promote social interactions, and preserve cultural heritage," says one of the Corcoran students. Read the Entire Article

New social enterprise, I.M.P.A.C.T Northeast CIC, has moved its headquarters smack dab in Sunderland city. I.M.P.A.C.T is set up at the University of Sunderland’s Enterprise Place and offers services to schools and local communities.
