Brescia Dover was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, a rare type of blood cancer.

"Being diagnosed with cancer at 20 years old was so scary and I wouldn't wish that on any 20-year-old," says Brescia.

She underwent about four months of chemotherapy treatment under the care of Dr. Allison Rosenthal, medical director of Mayo Clinic's Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program.
